Wedding signature drink recommendation! We are absolutely loving the signature drink trend at wedding receptions. Not only is this a creative way to offer more than just beer and wine without breaking the bank with a full bar, it’s a fantastic way for brides and grooms to share a little personal touch with your guests. And we are all about the personalization here at FYP! In fact, a custom Coaster or personalized Stir Stick will complement any signature cocktail.

This Rosemary Gimlet is a simple yet tasty drink that is perfect for any season. An embellishment to the classic Gimlet with just gin and lime juice, this cocktail does require you make a rosemary simple syrup. So put on your best herbal mixologist hat! Don’t worry though, it’s not difficult. You’ll find all the directions you need right here.

Rosemary Gimlet

*yields 2 cocktails

Rosemary Simple Syrup Ingredients:
1/2 cup water
1/2 sugar
2 tablespoons of coarsely chopped fresh rosemary leaves

Cocktail Ingredients:
Gin
3 tablespoons of fresh lime juice (1-2 limes)
3 tablespoons of rosemary syrup
Rosemary sprig for garnish
Ice

Syrup Directions
Combine the water, sugar and chopped rosemary in a small saucepan and heat on the stove top. Stir occasionally until the sugar is dissolved. Strain the syrup into a jar and refrigerate until you are ready to use.

Cocktail Directions
Combine a 4-ounce pour of gin (2 regular sized shots), 3 tablespoons of lime juice and 3 tablespoons of rosemary simple syrup into a shaker. Add slightly crushed ice until the shaker is about half full. Cover and shake for about 30 seconds. Strain your mixed drink into a chilled cocktail glass. A stemmed glass is best here, as you don’t want your hand to warm the cocktail.

Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and personalized Stir Stick, raise your glass to the bride and groom, and enjoy!

Cheers,
