Whether you're looking for the perfect Oscars cocktail to sip while cheering on your favorite nominee or wanting to mix up your dream wedding signature drink, this Rosemary Pear Sparkler is to die for. A homemade rosemary simple syrup paired with your favorite bubbly will come together for a sweet, earthy taste you'll be pouring all night. The simple syrup takes at least 2 hours to make, so plan ahead!

Rosemary Pear Sparkler

Ingredients
 - for the rosemary simple syrup -
Equal parts water and sugar ( 1 cup water: 1 cup sugar)
1 fresh rosemary sprig

 - for the drink -
Champagne or Prosecco
2 pears, peeled and pureed
Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish

Directions
First, make your rosemary simple syrup by combining the water and sugar in a saucepan and bringing to a boil. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, add the rosemary sprig and let the mixture steep for about 2 hours. Then, remove the rosemary and cool in the refrigerator until ready to use. Consider bottling the syrup in a glass bottle for easy use and storage. You can save, sealed and in the refrigerator (as if you'll have leftovers 😉) for up to a week.

Mix up your cocktails immediately before serving. When you're ready, add 1 ounce of your syrup and 1 ounce of the pear puree to a champagne glass. Top off the glass with your bubbly, and then add a sprig of rosemary for garnish. Stir gently with a custom stir stick. Toast and enjoy with a festive custom printed cocktail napkin!
