Sip and See for Baby Harper

Celebrating the arrival of a family’s 3rd or 4th baby doesn’t always seem to necessitate a traditional baby shower. By that point in their parenting journey, many moms will say that they don’t *really* need anything and that they hate to have their loved ones to go to the trouble of planning a baby shower. While we totally understand where our mamas-to-many are coming from, here at For Your Party, we think that not having the party is never the only option! If the expectations or details of planning a traditional baby shower don’t align with your needs or wants, adjust the party! One great option for families welcoming a sibling to their brood is a Sip and See.

Custom Designed Cocktail Napkins and Scalloped Coasters

Samantha Regan from Shining on Design recently styled her own gorgeous Sip and See, and posted all the details for our baby Sip and See planning inspiration. Samantha was welcoming their third little one and she designed an elegant and refreshing setting for her loved ones to take a peek at baby Harper. A Sip and See is a creative baby shower idea that revamps the celebration and gives guests a fresh experience.

Personalized Frost flex Cups

With a simple but special menu of macaroons, freshly baked cookies, tasty fruit cups and sparkly drinks for all ages, the food is festive but not labor intensive. Samantha used custom designed frosted cups and personalized straw tags for the sparkling soda drinks, and served the fruit cups in the same custom frosted cups featuring her “Hello Harper” design.

Personalized Frosted Cups and Custom Scalloped Coasters

In addition to custom designed cocktail napkins, and the personalized frosted cups, Samantha designed custom scalloped coasters and coordinating scalloped labels that she hung on the bottles of champagne. All of the personalized party accessories that she used shared a colorway and fonts, and her use of hand drawn wreath and branch graphics gave the products a cohesive look while each product was distinctly different, too.

Samantha made sure to keep her Sip and See accessible to families with children, which makes perfect sense, since the party is also celebrating a family with several children. From the cheerful personalized straw tags on classic striped paper straws, to the shatterproof custom designed frosted cups she offered drinks and fruit in, this event is very kid-friendly, without sacrificing anything in the design department.

A Sip and See is a great option for anyone looking for a simple, elegant way to plan a gathering to celebrate a new life. Like Samantha did so beautifully, feel free to adjust the party to fit the needs and desires of the family. No one will regret giving that little sibling their own moment to shine!
