Still full from Thanksgiving? Keep your friends and family around and enjoy this crisp fall Prosecco drink. Throw in a personalized cocktail napkin for a fun conversation starter!
1 bottle of Prosecco
2 plums, peeled and chopped
4 tbsp thyme simple syrup
6 thyme sprigs
1 lemon, squeezed for juice (about 2 tbsps)
First, make your simple syrup by combining equal parts water and sugar and bringing it to a boil. Then, remove it from the heat, add thyme, springs, stir and let the mixture cool. Chill until ready to serve.
Combine the plums, thyme simple syrup and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Muddle until all of the plum juices have been released. Add ice and shake well. Pour over ice and top it off with prosecco. Finally, garnish with extra plum slices and thyme sprigs.
