How to Put Together a Local Beer Flight

The Winter Olympics are here! Looking for ideas on how to host an opening ceremony watch party? We suggest inviting your guests to each come supporting a different country, sporting their colors and bringing a dish that is a traditional favorite. There are, of course, so many options for America. But, what's more classic American than watching sports with a cold beer?! We're putting together a local beer flight to represent the Red, White and Blue.

How to Create the Perfect Local Beer Flight

As with any flight, you're going to want to feature a variety of types of beer. We recommend a few basics: a wheat, pilsner, IPA and stout. Next, explore your local breweries for the perfect mix. Here's what's on our flight from Chicago:
312 Urban Wheat Ale from Goose Island Beer Co.
Pony Pilsner from Half Acre Beer
Double Splash Tropical DIPA from Marz Brewing
Personal Chain Letter Russian Imperial Stout from Pollyanna

All local, festive and delicious! Throwing in an American themed custom cocktail napkin, sitting back and about to cheer on PyeongChang 2018.
