Apple Cider Mojito recipe

A friend of one of our FYP Designers recently celebrated their one year business anniversary with a cider mojito so delicious we had to share a copycat! Your taste will, of course, vary a bit if not using the Michigan based Peat's Original Cider, but tasty nonetheless! With this recipe, you basically replace the sugar ingredient of a classic mojito with a hard apple cider. Yum!

Apple Cider Mojito

Ingredients
1 1/2 ounces  rum
1 1/2 ounces fresh lime juice
Hard apple cider
Mint leaves
Ice
Optional: Cinnamon sticks, apple slices and mint sprigs, for garnish
Directions
In the bottom of a tall cocktail glass, combine rum, lime juice and mint leaves. Muddle for a few seconds to release the mint juices. Then, fill the glass a little over halfway with ice. Next, top the glass with your hard cider. We'd suggest you add a sprig of mint and a drink stirrer for garnish. If you'd like to add more flavor to this fall cocktail, throw in a cinnamon stick and maybe even a few apple slices!
