Introducing one or several colors will add a festive, cheerful dimension to your party. You can do this in a subtle way or really make a statement. Check our Idea Gallery for this season's hot colors.

As a passionate party hostess, Sari has long seen the need for unique, personalized party accessories. After several unsatisfying online ordering experiences, she began developing ForYourParty.com. Launched in June 2004, the site adheres to her initial vision of allowing customers to participate in the design of their party accessories while offering them a real-time preview of the items.

Since then, ForYourParty has grown dramatically. We've moved to a larger office and production facility, added staff, and most importantly, expanded our product-line. We've been featured in many national magazines, newspapers, and on television. Our personalized products have been used at thousands of weddings, anniversary parties, birthday bashes, bachelor and bachelorette soirees, fundraisers, corporate events, holiday extravaganzas, and high-profile celebrity events.

And we're not stopping here...

In 2007, we re-launched the new and improved site that you're experiencing today. We've evolved to allow you to shop in three different ways: Get the Look - our Designer Boutique where many of the items have received prominent media coverage; Design Your Own - the heart of our site where you create your own vision; and Grab and Go - where you can purchase party items that ship the next business day.

There's more to come. We'll be adding new items and services to our site in the days to come. Watch for Seating/Escort Cards, Custom Calligraphy, Event Planning Services, Custom Art Design Services-- to name just a few.

We're delighted that you've visited our site and welcome your calls or emails. Your suggestions, comments, and feedback continue to allow us to bring you the personalized party accessories that you love.

Enjoy your party!

SARI

Before founding ForYourParty.com, Sari spent many years as a Public Relations and event-planning executive. Through the business, she was introduced to her husband and they were married in a beautiful ceremony that inspired her desire to help others achieve their party dreams. That vision was realized with the launch of the website in 2004. Her boundless creativity and entrepreneurial spirit make for a lively and positive environment at the ForYourParty headquarters.

The daughter of an artist-father and fun-loving mother, Sari inherited her father's creativity and her mother's sense of adventure. She adores the arts, culture, fashion, and nightlife of Chicago, but also has an enthusiasm for foreign places. Sari is a consummate hostess who loves throwing parties, often debuting the latest ForYourParty products and accessories. She lives in Chicago with her husband, two stepsons and two kitties.

RACHEL

Rachel joined the ForYourParty team in early 2006 and has been instrumental in helping expand the website. She is a creative and talented spirit who woos most customers with her sultry, North Carolina drawl. Rachel is the on-site photographer responsible for all of the site's images and she’s also an integral part of the ForYourParty.com graphic design and web management team. Her personal favorite party accessory, she says, are the barrel matches. The team hopes to customize those matches for her someday soon.

Rachel graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Visual Arts. In addition to her day job, she is a wedding photographer (see her work at www.rachelaustenphotography.com), and a missionary both in the U.S. and abroad. She can usually be found in our photo studio, on the computer editing, or chasing after Jackson (see below) in the office.

ROBERT

As our dedicated Web Guy, Roberto keeps Foryourparty.com (FYP) running smoothly, ensuring that all technical issues are handled seamlessly. He's been involved with FYP since our site's launch and is intimately involved with every aspect of your online experience.

Roberto loves to travel for work providing his technical expertise in far-reaching corners of the world such as Russia, Moldova, Uzbekistan and most recently Kenya.

Roberto's a contemplative guy who almost always wears black. "Couldn't find anything darker," he's quick to explain.

PAULINE

Do not be misled by Pauline's gentle, matronly demeanor. She's a methodical gambler and a rabid sports fan! In addition, Pauline entices the ForYourParty team with chocolate treats every day at 4 PM.

Pauline is the office unofficial “grandmother” who ensures that our orders and invoices are filed, charges are correct and that our samples are organized. She is diligent in her approach to work and determined to always find what we are looking for, but she asks kindly that you do not remove her tape dispenser. This is because she takes great pride in what she does. We are truly privileged to reap the benefits of her commitment and dedication.

LIZ

If you submit custom art for your party accessories, you'll almost certainly meet Liz. She joined the ForYourParty team in the fall of 2006 after graduating from DePaul University with a degree in Art & Design. She is a gifted designer who immediately became a valued asset of our creative team. One might think that her headphones are the source of her creativity because Liz is usually jamming to Wilco, Broken Social Scene and other indie rock groups while designing new products and graphics.

In her free time, Liz enjoys scouring Chicago's real estate and antique sales for hidden treasures and finds. She is a Chicago South Side native who was convinced by her biased colleagues that the North Side is better! She loves dogs and adopted a Basset Hound, Henry. Though Henry does not come to work with Liz, the office enjoys updates and photos of him.

LESLEY

Lesley is proudly no longer a student! She joined the graphic art department at ForYourParty in the Fall of 2007 after obtaining a Fine Arts degree from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago. About ForYourParty, she likes that each customer can create their own party accessories using an assortment of creative elements. “Fonts convey a feeling,” she says. She is a gifted artist who contributes to the creative team.

The rest of the ForYourParty staff really enjoys Lesley, and even more so when she brings her mom’s home-cooked meals for lunch treats! In her free time, Lesley reads books by Brazilian author Paulo Coelho and collects chopsticks. She is also the devoted mother of a turtle, Kiwi, and her new puppy, Yumi.

ERIN

Erin is the newest member of the team who is also new to Chicago. In 2007 she graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s in Spanish and Journalism and quickly realized that she needed to learn more skills. At ForYourParty.com, she oversees the content of the website and other editorial projects while also interning with members of the creative art department. The staff has patience with her as she adapts to her new surroundings and bums rides to work. Her favorite part of ForYourParty is the creative and laid-back environment that breeds friendly conversation.

Erin is a world traveler who speaks Spanish and attempts Swahili. In the past year, she has been to Argentina, Mexico, Kenya and Tanzania – and her interest in photography was founded in these trips. If she’s not at her computer typing, she’s either practicing yoga, playing with her two kitties or catching live shows in the city.

ROSABELLE

Rosabelle (or Rosey) is Sari's Mom, who helps out in a variety of ways from customer service to counseling services. A life-long English teacher and world traveler, Rosabelle has a personality that instantly attracts people of all walks of life. On top of being a bubbly friend, she keeps Sari grounded when things get crazy and always has a kind word to say!

Her bio would not be complete without a mention of her son Bill (Sari's big brother) and his family, who have recently embarked on a two-year sailing trip around the world. You can follow their voyage on their blog: http://sailblogs.com/member/sailwanderlust/

JUSTINE

Justine is ForYourParty’s part-time employee who works on sample requests, processing orders and filing product – but she is not new to the business. She spent the summer of 2006 working in production as a hot stamper! Having been in production and now in customer service, Justine has a well-rounded view of the business, a skill she hopes to put to use in her future career plans (whatever they may be)!

Justine is a student at Roosevelt University in Chicago studying psychology and business. She works several days a week during the school year and adds an interesting perspective to our office conversation. She is a Minnesota native who relocated to Chicago several years ago and has no plans to leave! She is one of a number of redheads that ForYourParty seems to attract.

JACKSON

Our youngest employee and the factory Alpha Male, Jackson is part Jack Russell Terror (and Terrier) and part Basenji. He is Rachel's single child, but the entire operation is crazy about this little guy.

To no avail, we have tried to train Jackson to be helpful around the office, but he only gives free love and occasionally "vacuums" the floor.

HELLO!LUCKY

Hello!Lucky (www.hellolucky.com) is a specialty design firm that creates vintage-inspired greeting card designs and distributes them through shops and specialty outlets worldwide. In addition to purchasing products with their designs on ForYourParty.com, their cards and box sets can be found on Anthropologie, Kate’s Paperie, and Liberty of London. The company began in 2003 as the brainchild of sisters Eunice and Sabrina Moyle, two women who loved the idea of bringing art and design to an appreciative public. Since its inception, the company has developed a range of stylish greeting cards and gifts, custom wedding invitations, birth announcements, and personalized stationery.

CID PEAR

Tina Givens, the creative force and artist for Cid Pear (www.cidpear.com), strives to achieve a unique line of products using quality papers along with watercolor artwork that is soft and whimsical. The artwork makes you long to own the actual item depicted on her stationery. Some of these beautiful designs are now available as ForYourParty items and are perfect for bridal, showers, birthdays, holiday and any other special occasion.

delphine

Erika Firm, founder and designer of delphine (www.delphinepress.com), has been creating things since she was a toddler. She was the only kid on her block to have her very own X-Acto knife and T-square at age five. Her inspirations include the fabulous: McCarthy and Wharton novels; the natural: sand-sliced by a lazy wave; and the mundane: Krispy Kreme donuts and sugar packets. Her first design job was the playbill for her fifth grade class production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream but her favorite design job is the next one. She loves paper, the written word, all shades of green, the sound of the surf, crepes, café au lait, weddings and the smell of the pressroom. She has a passion for letterpress and for good design, no matter the medium.

LAUREL DENISE

Laurel Pipkin, owner & designer of Laurel Denise (laureldenise.com), has been designing jewelry since March 2005 and recently added a line of stationery to her collection. Originally from Charlottesville, VA, and a graduate in studio art from James Madison University in 2003, Laurel now lives and works outside of New York City.

With the idea of accessorizing an accessory, Laurel designs jewelry that features her detailed illustrations and handwriting merged with transparent glass. Her stationery features images and writing pulled from her jewelry designs combined with a perfect vintage aesthetic that expands upon one of the newest up and coming brands, Laurel Denise.
